One man died and another was injured in a head-on collision in Pretoria, Gauteng paramedics said on Wednesday.
The man, in his thirties, died on impact after his car and a truck collided in Daspoort Tunnel, west of Pretoria, Netcare paramedic Chris Botha said.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the dead man still trapped in the remains of the car.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Muelmed Hospital in Arcadia for further care.
